While working tonight on several of my web based projects I decided to take a moment to browse a couple of my favorite sites and blogs, this always helps me to clear my mind and inspire my imagination.

This evening I decided to point my browser towards Juxtapoz.com and what I found was quite special, they had a small feature on artist Diego Gravinese who specializes in creating the “Hyperreal” and by “Hyperreal” I mean amazing oil and acrylic paintings replicating photographic scenes.

His work is mesmerizing (in my opinion) he’s able to take real life and in some cases what some might call “mundane” moments and create something quite captivating and compelling.

I’ve included a few of my favorite pieces in this post but for more info on Diego check out his site Diegogravinese.com but be warned in advance you may come across the occasional piece containing a “Hyperreal” scantily clad woman! lol

I’m a big fan of any opportunity to spend quality time with friends and family and if it involves good food even better! With Thanksgiving doing such a great job of combing the two it goes without saying that this is one of my favorite holidays of the year.

Most people have grown up learning the history behind this American tradition but here’s the thing no matter your background, geographical location or religious beliefs I feel that on the simplest of levels it just a wonderful opportunity to remind everyone of the things that we have to be thankful for.

This is something which many of us overlook on a daily bases by becoming wrapped up in our day to day lives but this coming Thursday try to take a moment to appreciate everything and everyone in your lives that you have to be thankful for and more importantly let those people know just how much they mean to you.

Heads Up Towing is the sister company of Heads Up Motorsports another client of our. When the guys from Heads Up came to us with this project they explained that they loved the first website that we designed for them and that they wanted to keep the same foundation to build the new content and color scheme around for the new site.

This wasn’t a problem and after meeting with the guys to talk over the details (color palette, graphics, content etc..) we went to work putting everything together. We then discussed their needs for the site with regards to how they wanted customer to find them so that we could setup the customer SEO for the site.

Top Dead Center or “TDC” is a Spartanburg based automotive performance shop that has built a nationwide reputation on the success and diversity of their custom car projects. From parts sales and installation to complete motor swaps and in-house fabrication TDC covers it all.

The TDC team came to Launch83 with an interesting problem they had a website, they had tons of great content but their site was built on a terrible platform that did nothing to let the online world know about them or their content. They had no SEO, no sitemaps, no image tags, nothing! but due to the strength of their brick and mortar business they continued to grow.

So the goal was set, get the tdcauto.com site transfered over to a newly designed wordpress based site and optimize the heck out of all this great content that they have.

One thing we always tell our clients is that “Content Is King” you can have the best looking website in the world but there is just no substitute for well optimized content when it comes to visibility online and the TDC Team had no shortage of content.

We took they’re company color scheme, freshened up their logo and built them this incredibility clean and functional portable to display all of their exciting projects to the world.

The results speak for them self, the site is a massive success with their customers and online hits and traffic are growing exponentially, not to mention that online customer interaction is at an all time high.
